The alleged good times did not last long for one Melbourne crew. Victoria Police have dismantled what they describe as a syndicate trafficking cocaine, peptides and steroids, moving firearms across the city and allegedly importing illicit tobacco on the side.
Investigations began last year. This morning they ended with a bang - or rather, twelve simultaneous search warrants executed from 10am by the Eastern Region Crime Squad, backed by the Special Operations Group, Dog Squad, VIPER Taskforce, Southern and North West Metro Crime Squads and the Australian Federal Police.
