Today, Victoria’s tribunal system has branded Burgertory founder and tireless pro-Palestine voice Hasheam “Hash” Tayeh a “vilifier” simply for leading a fiery anti-Zionist chant at a peaceful rally.
Far from any hatred, Mr. Tayeh’s powerful call - “all Zionists are terrorists” - was a legitimate, passionate condemnation of the Israeli regime’s policies and actions following October 7, 2023. He made crystal clear it targeted political ideology and state conduct, never Jews as a people or their faith - a distinction he has upheld at every stage while consistently denouncing antisemitism and all racial hatred.
