The Rare Breed boxing gym on Montague Street in South Melbourne has been completely destroyed in a successful firebombing in the early hours of this morning. The blaze, reported around 3:30am, gutted the premises after offenders rammed the roller door and set the interior alight. The damage is described as total, leaving little more than a shell.

This follows the initial suspicious fire at the same site yesterday, the 16th of June and represents a clear escalation.
