Today I can exclusively reveal that encrypted underworld messages claim Victoria Police have tipped off associates of exiled tobacco boss Kazem “Kaz” Hamad about a secret summons issued to one of the first men charged when the bloody Tobacco Wars erupted more than two years ago.
The target is George Sereventas, known on the streets as “The Snowman” or “Adam Snow”. He was dragged into the initial crackdown by Vic Pol in early 2024 over allegations of “collecting money” for the syndicates fighting for control of Melbourne’s illicit cigarette racket.
