Victoria Police detectives from the Illicit Firearms Squad have charged a 51-year-old Sunshine man following the discovery of what can only be described as a rather comprehensively equipped domestic workshop for producing firearms, complete with a supporting cast of methylamphetamine, steroids, testosterone and a machete.

With assistance from the VIPER Taskforce, two search warrants were executed yesterday morning at residential addresses in Sunshine. The haul recovered suggests someone had moved well beyond casual interest into active production capability.
