Daniel Kinahan is back on Irish soil. The government jet touched down at Casement Aerodrome in Baldonnel on Sunday evening, the 9th of August. Within hours he was in the dock at the Special Criminal Court, charged, remanded, and on his way to Portlaoise. The whole courtroom circus lasted fourteen minutes. He wore a plain black hoodie, put on glasses, and told the judges, almost wearily, that everyone knew he wasn’t getting bail.
