The Manor Street house is home to former Steller Group co-founder Simon Pitard and his wife, Skye Pitard. It last sold for about $9 million.

Offenders smashed a front window of a Shuter Street GP clinic in Moonee Ponds before an accelerant was used and it was set alight just after 2am Tuesday. Police say they will look at whether it is linked to a fire next door on 14 October.

A tobacco store in Watsonia was firebombed just after 7.30pm on a Wednesday night. Police are investigating and whoever did it is still at large.

A tobacco shop on Dickson Street in Sunshine went up about 3.15am. Five people living upstairs got themselves out, and a white SUV was seen leaving.
